Recently, I was part of a meeting where the speaker made a claim that almost startled me. His hypothesis was that if a certain man’s teaching and experience worked for him – even when there was no biblical support for such – then the success of this man’s experience made it a legitimate truth. So this begs the question: Does personal experience determine truth? For that matter, what is truth?

Rejecting The Truth
Like in the time of Josiah just prior to the reformation he pioneered, when the priests ministered and worship continued in the house of the Lord even without the book of the law, even so is it in our time.

There is a mighty reformation fueled and engineered by the Spirit of God that is sweeping across the nations of the earth. God is reforming His people as well as the structures we operate in. “Church” as we have known it is over with! A new Ekklesia is emerging in the earth and being fitted into new wineskins.

Rejecting The System
I find no fault with those who are genuinely grieved or turned off by religious Christianity and have chosen to disengage from the system and meaningless religious services or activity. For years there has been a great exodus from the established religious pattern of church services without any Kingdom focus or Kingdom power. People have grown tired of the empty worship, “three points, a prayer and a poem” sermons, as well as the constant badgering to give their money to preachers who squander and misuse it. These “deserters” have been criticized for being “rebellious” and willfully “forsaking the gathering”, but when it all comes down to it, I wouldn’t continue to engage – due to any false sense of loyalty – in that system either!

The most accurate term I can find to describe what Jesus is building is Kingdom Community. I am not the one who coined this term, although I wish I did. I first heard this term used by Congress WBN and its founder Dr. Noel Woodroffe several years ago. The term forced me to think outside of the traditional paradigm of “church” to discover a much richer meaning behind what Jesus wanted to build, which is one of the dynamics of new vocabulary. It jolts your mind into grasping and understanding a new concept.
